Ian and I were set up by someone who knows both of us very well. After weeks of trying to convince us to go out on a date, we finally agreed to it. We went out for dinner and laughed about the poor service and bad food. The instantaneous comfort and ability to enjoy each other’s company was undeniable. From the day we met, we knew we were right for one another. In the weeks after, when were upset, we both knew that we had each other to rely on. We even helped each other through some difficult times. We share the same values and have the same sense of humour. We are best friends. We can tell each other anything and it will never change the way we feel. We are able to laugh together, grow together, and share priceless memories.

The day of our wedding was perfect. Knowing that we had each other, we were at ease and very excited for what was to come. After getting dressed and ready, we waited to see one another for the first time. At that moment, we felt an overwhelming comfort in knowing that we would be together forever. We then began taking pictures. The process was so much fun and relaxed. We laughed a lot, kissed a lot and took stunning photos. We didn’t want it to end. And then came the wedding. As we walked down the aisle, we took it all in. We saw all our closest friends and family who were there to celebrate this amazing occasion with us. The entire night was wonderful. It was the beginning of our lives together and we couldn’t wait to start!
