Our story began on the 13th of September 2003. I was just 17 and Alex was 20... We went to the same school and college but never knew each other until that night when we ended up in the right place at the right “TIME”. (TIME was a small local club.) Life has never been the same since.

For the next 7 years we grew up together. We were each other’s rock and achieved many things during this time. After living together for a year, on my 24th Birthday in 2010 he got me the most amazing present: a holiday to Antigua. When we got to this paradise in October, we were often asked if we were on our honeymoon but our answer was always “NO and not for few years!!!” However, one morning we went for a walk to a deserted part of the beach with breath taking views. As we were walking and looking around I came across a Russian Doll on the beach. This was a little strange as I am half Russian and what is Russian Doll doing in Antigua?! I thought someone has lost it so decided to check if all dolls were inside. When it came to opening the last one I couldn’t do it so Alex was determined to help me. I looked away for just a second and when I looked back there he was on one knee with a ring inside the smallest Russian Doll... It was worth waiting 7 years for! What an amazing Sunday morning and a good date to remember too: 10/10/10.

After a year of planning our special day we got married on Sunday 9th of October 2011.We never knew what to expect but it ended up being the best day of our lives so far! Our family and friends travelled from Russia, Ukraine, Spain, France & Germany to celebrate with us. From greeting the guests at the reception and releasing doves with the bridal party, to Pims and cocktails while gazing at fireworks around midnight, it was absolutely amazing. Everything went better than planned, we wouldn’t change a thing. Things also went really smooth with Danylö’s out-going personality and positive attitude that always brought a smile throughout the day. Our “Trash the Dress” session was loads of fun and the images are absolutely incredible. Now a new chapter has begun as a husband and wife and I can’t wait to share the rest of my life with the most amazing husband in the world.
