Melissa & Alex - October 10th 2009

Melissa and Alex wedding was a combination of Portuguese traditions with an Indian flair and a whole lot of fun and love. They met at Concordia University in 2002. Melissa was the trainer for the men’s rugby team, Alex was a captain on the football team.
 
Alex was very nervous for the proposal. Melissa explains: « I should have guessed that he was proposing that day after his many phone calls to hurry home and my noticing an empty ring box on our bed upon my return. I was nonetheless surprised, I let out a scream when I discovered the ring on my plate (he had placed it under a maki roll) and through tears, I said YES! »
