Natalie and Yannis - September 12th, 2009
On March 1st, 2008, a beautiful snowy day, we were snowshoeing in one of the most picturesque parks, Domaine St-Bernard. I hung a little red bag on a tree when Nathalie was not looking. When she noticed I wasn’t around, she glazed back and immediately saw the little red bag poking through the snow-covered trees. Her heart skipped a beat…she knew that was THE moment. Inside the bag was a love letter and at the end of it, I had written the question: “Will you spend the rest of your life with me?” Our wedding day was truly the most beautiful day of our lives together. It was perfect, beginning with the beautiful sunny day, surrounded by the warm smiles of our families and friends and, of course, our love was shinning bright. For the ceremony, we chose a church that was close to our hearts. After being wed in the eyes of God, we made a wish by setting free white doves, then got into a convertible pink Cadillac and headed to Old-Montreal for pictures with our bridal party. We had a blast getting our pictures taken and capturing the most incredible souvenirs. The hall was inspired by a tropical theme, with fuchsia and white background and gorgeous flowers. During our first dance as husband and wife, fireworks went off around us. We danced the night away celebrating the combination of the Greek and Lebanese music and culture. We ended our special day and left immediately for our honeymoon destination to Sandals Antigua. It was the first time we experienced such pure and blessed joy… Everyone felt the love in the air.
