Nahal & Javiers remarkable love story began when they were still in University. In March of 2009, after the couple had dated for a few years, Javier pulled out a ring, dropped to one knee and proposed. There are many reasons why this wedding was extra special, one of which was that the couple came from different cultural backgrounds.
Since Javier comes from Spain, and Nahal from Iran, the couple had to do a lot of reading and research. They decided to respect family traditions and merge their cultures, choosing a traditional Persian Wedding as well as a Spanish one. Not only were these traditions meaningful, but they created beautiful memories. Nahal & Javier’s wedding was illustrative of today’s society where people from very different backgrounds are coming together and sharing those traditions with each other’s families and friends.
